The Taxidermist's Daughter
My role on 'The Taxidermist's Daughter' was as a maker and assistant. I made 'the blue coat' worn by three actors. Having two detachable beaded collars, one new looking, the other broken down, also having faced cuffs, to adjust the sleeve length to each actor. The play is set in 1912, with the coat made in 1902. For this particular production, the designer and director wanted partial historical accuracy. Additionally, I made a pair of trousers for the character 'Harry Woolston' alongside a child's skirt, while completing alterations and breaking down the blood aprons and shirts. This show was performed at Greenwich Theatre.
